Winnipeg International Students Orientation

On September 29th from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the University of Manitoba, the World Sikh Organization of Canada will be hosting an International Students Orientation exclusively for Punjabi speaking students and Sikh students who are studying in post-secondary institutions in and around WInnipeg. The objective of this orientation is to provide more personalized information regarding student rights, duties and immigration rules.

Speakers will also be addressing issues concerning part time/full time work, permanent residency, academic integrity, discrimination, landlord disputes and adjustment to Canadian culture. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss any other issue of importance during the workshhop.

This is a free event; however, seating is limited. Please register to ensure that your seat is reserved.
