This policy template addresses sexual harassment and violence from a Sikh perspective, rooted in the principles of equality, respect, and justice as seen in Gurbani, Sikh History and the Panthak Rahat. Sikh organizations are encouraged to adapt this template to fit the structure and needs of their respective organization.
We at The World Sikh Organization are committed to fostering an environment where every individual feels safe, valued, and respected. Sexual harassment and violence are strictly prohibited and are considered violations of the core Sikh values of respect (satkar), compassion (daya), and justice (insaf). Any behavior that demeans, humiliates, or causes harm to others will not be tolerated.
